Dobrý den, Přátelé! My name is Nicolay, I am a paraglider pilot and an R&D engineer in the Ungravity project. And you are all one of the best competitors, adventurers, and mountaineers. Have you ever worried about whether your paragliding, or speedriding, or whatever else track will be recorded or get lost?

Just one day my own GPS get discharged during поход-n-fly and I lost a cool adventure another time I landed in the water while performing acro and all my flight instruments had to be thrown out. I would like to understand how you - professional and leisure pilots сегодня, solve this issue, going to the longest cross-country flights and doing SIV over the water ;) ? And if you still have a headache whether to record a track or not, then I'm on the right way. And the world's first solar-powered водонепроницаемый GPS vario - is really in demand.

I will be very happy if you say whether such a device (waterproof stand-alone GPS vario with a smartphone connectivity) is necessary for you or how do you solve the problems described. And if you liked my idea, then by this season we will have such an instrument!

    Congratulations on the New Year 2018! And many thanks for the personal messages. И promise to reveal the information on this forum step by step.

    Here are the first two steps:

    • First of all, we will show a functional prototype this month to make it real for you.

    • Second of all, we will create a crowdfunding campaign in February to produce 150 instruments very soon.

    These are custom breadboards which combine all the components of the final circuit board.

    Hello Friends!

    Over the past month, I have collected enough opinions about the project, and it turns out that the main stumbling block is the price. We have to work a little more to reduce the cost, but we must make it by the beginning of the season. Wish us luck!

    P.S. Here the first step in reducing costs: a case made of hard nylon, manufactured using selective laser sintering technology instead of casting on automatic equipment. How do you like the snowy white color?

    Impossible because the URL of the image starts httpss: (double s). Even if you use correct URL, displaying of the image within 3rd party websites may be blocked (referer blocking), that's why it isn't reliable.
